KUALA LUMPUR — DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng has urged the Home Ministry to act against Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Akmal Saleh over his conduct in the upside-down Jalur Gemilang controversy in Penang. Lim accused Akmal of pressuring the Attorney-General’s Chambers, interfering in justice, and “bullying” a 59-year-old shop owner, calling him a threat to national unity and the rule of law. “Akmal must be stopped and the Home Ministry should act against him for violating the Rukun Negara, and posing a clear and present danger to national unity, harmony, the administration of justice and rule of law,” he said.
