He called for urgent humanitarian aid for refugees and natural disaster victims, including earthquake survivors. Anwar praised Bangladesh for its proactive diplomacy in multilateral forums and announced that Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan will lead a joint mission with Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand to Myanmar in the coming weeks.
The visit aims to promote peace and address atrocities against ethnic minorities. Anwar spoke during Bangladeshi Chief Adviser Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus’s official visit.
