PETALING JAYA, Aug 14 — Bukit Aman’s Criminal Investigations Department has joined the probe into the assault on Rafizi Ramli’s son at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. Selangor police chief Shazeli Kahar said investigations cover all angles, including the motive, with the victim now stable. Two helmeted suspects in black reportedly followed Rafizi’s wife’s car before stabbing the boy with a hypodermic needle. Rafizi alleges the attack aimed to silence him over a scandal. Six witness statements have been recorded. The suspects remain unidentified, with police citing their concealed identities. The case is being investigated under multiple criminal provisions.
