PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional (BN) will focus on rural seats while Pakatan Harapan (PH) targets urban constituencies in the upcoming Sabah elections, said Umno war room secretariat chief Ahmad Maslan. He described the arrangement as a positive sign of BN-PH unity. Ahmad noted that final seat numbers will be announced later by central leadership but stressed that preparations this time are more systematic compared to 2020. BN chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi confirmed yesterday that allocations between BN and PH had been finalised. However, no negotiations have yet been held with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah out of respect for PH.
