KUALA LUMPUR: Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil has urged Malaysians to continue flying the Jalur Gemilang throughout Merdeka and Malaysia Day celebrations without fear of intimidation. He said no one should feel threatened by groups attempting to bully or criticise how the flag is displayed. Fahmi was responding to a recent opposition-led parade in Kepala Batas, Penang, which allegedly tried to instil fear over mistakes in flag placement. He stressed that Malaysians must embrace national pride and not allow any party to frighten or bully them over the matter. Fahmi spoke after launching the #Komuniti Pantai Dalam 2025 arts programme.
