PETALING JAYA: MUDA has vowed not to be silenced after Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi filed a lawsuit against its secretary-general Ainie Haziqah Shafiee. Acting president Amira Aisya Abdul Aziz described Zahid’s action as cowardly and hypocritical, saying it was an attempt at political intimidation. She questioned why Ainie was singled out for remarks on Zahid’s graft charges when others had voiced similar concerns. Amira also criticised Pakatan Harapan for betraying election promises, accusing Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s anti-graft drive of being hollow. A video of the press conference has since gone viral online.
