ALOR SETAR – Amanah Youth Kuala Kedah has criticised Kedah DAP Socialist Youth (DAPSY) for allegedly interfering in Penang’s political affairs over the flag controversy. Its chief, Fadli Hussin, said DAPSY Kedah’s statements were unhelpful and could potentially heighten political tension. He stressed that the flag issue involves patriotism and should not be taken lightly. Fadli also reminded that good relations within the Unity Government must be preserved, with differing views expressed diplomatically. He added that police had managed the rally well and investigations are ongoing. DAPSY had urged DAP to break all relationships with Umno Youth Chief Akmal Saleh.
