KUALA LUMPUR – A study by think tank Iman Research has revealed that some Malaysians still speak highly of former prime minister Najib Razak, citing transformative policies introduced during his administration. Research director Aziff Azuddin said respondents expressed nostalgia, highlighting initiatives such as the Urban Transformation Centres (UTC) which made services more accessible to youths. He noted that many felt Najib’s policies demonstrated genuine care for the people, contrasting with current perceptions of government shortcomings. Aziff suggested that today’s administration is seen as lacking in policies that directly improve lives and foster a sense of inclusion.
