The Ministry of Finance has announced that 22 million Malaysian MyKad holders can verify their eligibility for the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) Appreciation Aid through the official portal starting today. All citizens aged 18 and above automatically qualify, with no registration required, as eligibility is determined using National Registration Department data.
SARA Aid Valid Until December 31, Covers Essential Goods Nationwide
Each eligible adult receives RM100 credited directly to their MyKad on August 31, valid until December 31, 2025. Families stand to benefit collectively, while unused balances will be redirected to vulnerable groups under future MADANI initiatives. The aid can be used at over 7,300 outlets for essential goods.
