KUALA LUMPUR: The Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) will charge Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh and Bersatu Youth chief Hilman Idham for allegedly making statements that threatened public order. Akmal is accused over a Facebook post, while Hilman faces charges related to a TikTok statement, both under Section 505(b) of the Penal Code. Two other individuals will also be charged. Hilman’s case will be heard at the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate’s Court tomorrow, while Akmal, currently in Mecca, said he will return early from umrah to face charges at the Bukit Mertajam Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
