Is This Guan Eng’s Last Stand in DAP As The Bold Maverick Defies Loke’s 'Golden Decade'

PETALING JAYA: Former finance minister Lim Guan Eng has filed a defamation suit against ex-Umno Supreme Council member Tajuddin Abdul Rahman for alleging he turned the finance ministry into a “Chinese temple” during his tenure. Lim contends Tajuddin’s remarks, made at a Sinar Harian forum on Oct 18, 2022, falsely implied he sidelined Malays, dismissed Malay civil servants, and abused his position. The DAP adviser said the statement, widely circulated online and in the media, severely damaged his reputation. Lim seeks a public apology, damages, and an injunction against Tajuddin from repeating similar claims.
