KUALA SELANGOR – Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul has clarified that his office has not received any motion from Pagoh MP Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to refer Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to the Parliamentary Rights and Privileges Committee.
Johari said no official documents have been submitted so far.

“Not yet (received the motion in question). That’s what he (Muhyiddin) said, but I say not yet,” Johari briefly told reporters after officiating the launch of the National Information Dissemination Centre (Nadi) in Ijok on Saturday.
Previously, Muhyiddin demanded that Anwar apologise over remarks suggesting he was defending foreigners in the government’s RON95 fuel subsidy targeting issue. Muhyiddin warned that if no apology was forthcoming, he would table a motion to refer the Prime Minister to the committee.
