PETALING JAYA – NGO Persatuan Petaling Jaya Lestari has filed committal proceedings against the Selangor government for failing to comply with a March 2025 High Court ruling on the Petaling Jaya Dispersal (PJD) Link Highway. The court had ordered the release of environmental, social, and traffic impact assessments (EIA, SIA, TIA), along with alignment details, within 30 days. Group secretary Wong Mei Ching said the delay undermines the rule of law and amounts to contempt of court. She criticised the authorities’ silence as “bureaucratic indifference” despite residents’ two-year legal struggle for transparency and accountability.
