PETALING JAYA: Former PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli says he is ready to defend his statements in court after receiving a legal notice from Datuk Wira Farhash Wafa Salvador.
Rafizi confirmed receiving a cease-and-desist letter on Aug 22 from Farhash’s lawyers, demanding he retract remarks linking a whistleblower to business dealings allegedly associated with the former political secretary to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Legal Notice
Standing firm, Rafizi said his comments were factual and had been referred to his lawyer. He added that any court action would be of public interest, opening the door to wider scrutiny.
