Former Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli confirmed receiving a letter of demand from Datuk Wira Farhash Wafa Salvador, former political secretary to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. The cease and desist letter demanded Rafizi stop making statements and issue an apology over his claim that a whistleblower was linked to companies associated with Farhash.
Rafizi Receives Letter of Demand from Farhash
Rafizi stressed his remarks were based on facts and said he was prepared to defend himself in court, having appointed Gan, Ho & Razlan Hadri as his legal team. He added that if a lawsuit were filed, it would be of public interest. Farhash has denied any link to the alleged attack on Rafizi’s 12-year-old son.
