New: Akmal wants DAP leaders to correct an upside-down in KL

SHAH ALAM, Aug 25 — UMNO Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh has urged ministers or DAP leaders to correct an upside-down Jalur Gemilang displayed at a business premises in Kuala Lumpur. In a Facebook post, he said citizens risk facing legal action if they take matters into their own hands. “Please tell the minister or DAP to come down and fix the flag themselves. If the people fix it, they might get prosecuted. If the local authorities (PBT) impose punishment, then there will be groups dissatisfied and asking for the punishment to be withdrawn,” he said in a Facebook post on Monday.
