KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 25 — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has arrested three individuals, including a senior Jusa B-grade officer from a local authority, over alleged corruption dating back to 2014. A company owner and a woman in her 40s were detained in Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur, while the officer, in his 50s, was arrested at his office. Investigators believe bribes were paid to secure projects. MACC seized RM150,000 cash, luxury cars, branded items, and froze 19 bank accounts worth over RM7 million. The case is being investigated under Section 16(a)(B) of the MACC Act 2009.
