Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim assured Parliament today that no state is sidelined in federal development planning, with allocations based on needs and strategic priorities.
Anwar: No State Left Out in Development Plans
He dismissed claims of neglect, citing rising federal expenditure for all states, including Sabah (RM6.7b), Sarawak (RM5.9b), Kelantan (RM3.2b), and Terengganu (RM1.8b). Major projects include the RM74.96b ECRL, RM15.9b Pan Borneo Highway, the Sabah-Sarawak Link Road, and RM25.08b for flood mitigation.
Kedah, Perlis, and other states also benefit from water supply and industrial projects. Anwar pledged that state priorities will be reflected in Budget 2026, ensuring balanced growth nationwide.
