The heart breaking riots that happened in Indonesia has led Malaysians and other Southeast Asians namely from Thailand and the Philippines to show solidarity to the people. An X user suggested that we can order food on a ride hailing app in Indonesia (whilst not being there) and leave a note saying the food is for the delivery rider.

A Malaysian X user says that we are able to do this as RM30 is able to stretch further than it can in Kuala Lumpur. Netizens from Indonesia sent their thanks and appreciation to their other Southeast Asian counterparts in helping these delivery riders.
Indonesia netizens are also complaining about their Rupiah reducing in value, and state that it is a wakeup call. For Malaysians it is always known that our currency is able to be stretched over there, the same isn’t true for most other places.
