The rise of QR payment systems has increased the ease of payment among the residents of Southeast Asia. However, others have yet to adopt such a feature. It seems that some claim that European countries are still lacking when it comes to this new banking feature. 

X user calls Europe “ghetto” for not having QR payment systems

Some users claim that even in an advanced country like Germany, you’d be lucky to find an establishment that accepts card payment. It is unclear how true this statement is, where Asians are generally ready to pay with a banking card. 

Others claim that this is in lieu of most of the European countries supporting Visa and Mastercard. Netizens add that these companies can start their own QR payment system if that’s the case.
