Wan Azizah, the wife of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was recently seen not shaking the hands of China President, Xi Jinping. She instead opted to give a graceful bow to him as a show of respect. This is due to the fact that Muslim women are not supposed to touch the hands of another man who is not their husband.

Netizens added that she softly bowed to the President, which is an even greater gesture of honor. Some see it as a beautiful communication between people of different cultures which are both respected.
