Social media users say that it is intriguing that not much official statements are being made about the disruptions. For the most part, Malaysians were eager to redeem their RM100 credits for their needed essentials, as such an amount can be considerable for those in a tight position.

There are arguments among social media users claiming that those who don’t really need the aid are using it as soon as they’re able to. Some say it would be better to let those who are in actual need use theirs first. But, others say if everyone has received this RM100, they should be able to use it despite them being financially stable or not.
