SHAH ALAM, Sept 7 — Bersatu’s eighth annual general assembly descended into chaos when a small group of members shouted at party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, demanding his resignation. The disruption came after Muhyiddin revealed that certain quarters were collecting signatures to oust him. Party officials swiftly removed the dissenting group, while most delegates rallied behind Muhyiddin, chanting “Hidup Tan Sri.” In his keynote speech, Muhyiddin warned that similar efforts could target other leaders and urged members to maintain unity, avoid discord, and strengthen Bersatu’s position ahead of the next general election.
