PETALING JAYA: PAS and Perikatan Nasional (PN) election director Sanusi Nor has urged Bersatu not to act unilaterally in deciding key matters, including naming a prime minister candidate. He said such decisions must be made through consensus with coalition partners, adding the same applies to seat allocations in Sabah and the selection of a chief minister candidate. Sanusi’s remarks follow Bersatu’s recent decision to nominate party president Muhyiddin Yassin as PN’s prime minister candidate. The issue has long been contested within PN, with PAS leaders previously insisting no final decision would be made until after winning Putrajaya.
