Eleven Men Fined RM3,000 Each Over Fake Loan Scam

The Magistrate’s Court fined 11 men RM3,000 each after they pleaded guilty to conspiring in loan scams involving non-existent financing. The accused, aged 19 to 41, were charged separately before Magistrate Nurul Saqinah Rosli.

Eleven Men Fined RM3,000 Each Over Fake Loan Scam

Seven were accused of offering fake loans at a café on August 26, while four others faced similar charges at another premises the same day. They were charged under Section 120B(2) and Section 34 of the Penal Code. Magistrate Nurul Saqinah ruled that failure to pay the fine would result in six months’ imprisonment. The court also ordered all case exhibits to be surrendered to prosecutors.
