“There is an app for that,” an inspired quote from an Apple commercial back in 2009 when they introduced the App Store. However, it seems that netizens feel the abundance of mobile apps done by the Malaysian government is overwhelming. Unfortunately, like the infamous JPJ app, a lot of these apps feel “half-baked” to the general population.  

Netizens asking why Msian government obsessed with “half-baked” mobile apps 

Another user adds that if these choices of apps for different governmental functions worked properly, it would be better. Sadly, these apps aren’t working as they’re supposed to do, and these apps reflect the work of a secondary school student’s final year project. 

Others complained that having a physical drivers license and identity card is more than enough than having an entire page full of apps that are possibly buggy. Some users sympathise with the lower income groups of the country as these apps would be taking up their phone’s storage.
