IPOH: A 41-year-old woman accused of attempting to attack Perak ruler Sultan Nazrin Shah during the state-level National Day celebration has been charged with using criminal force. Nurshazwani Afni Zorki nodded in understanding when the charge was read at the Ipoh Magistrate’s Court today, but no plea was recorded. The court ordered her to undergo a one-month psychiatric evaluation at Hospital Bahagia Tanjung Rambutan after prosecutors revealed she suffers from schizophrenia. The incident occurred on Aug 31 when she rushed the stage during the national anthem but was swiftly restrained by security personnel.
