Dang Wangi district police chief Suzilme Affendy Sulaiman sustained head injuries during an eviction operation at Kampung Sungai Baru, Kuala Lumpur, after clashes broke out with residents refusing to vacate.

Witnesses reported that chaos erupted when several disgruntled individuals tried to force their way into the restricted area, leaving the officer bloodied. The court-ordered operation, which began early this morning, also involved cutting off electricity and was led by bailiffs with support from multiple agencies.
Police have since cordoned off sections of the enclave, restricting entry and exit with special passes while denying media access to prevent provocations.
