KUALA LUMPUR – Police arrested three men believed to be involved in injuring Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman during a protest in Kampung Sungai Baru. Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail confirmed the arrests, stressing that action was taken in accordance with the law following a court order for eviction. He urged the public to remain calm and rely only on verified information to prevent unrest. Sulizmie sustained injuries while dispersing protesters opposing an electricity supply cut during the eviction process and is currently receiving treatment at Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
