PETALING JAYA – Selangor FC stormed into the FA Cup quarter-finals after thrashing Malaysia University Football Team (MUFT) 9-0 in the Round of 16 second-leg clash at MBPJ Stadium on Saturday night. The emphatic win gave the Red Giants a 12-1 aggregate victory, following their 3-1 success in the first leg. Brazilian striker Chrigor Moraes starred with a hat-trick, while Kevin Deeromram netted twice. Other goals came from Quentin Cheng, Alvin Fortes, Zach Clough, and Ahmad Zikri Mohd Khalili. Selangor will face Negeri Sembilan FC next, who advanced with a 5-1 aggregate over PDRM FC. Terengganu FC also progressed, beating Imigresen FC 3-0.
