Former Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad has expressed his willingness to participate in a live debate regarding the redevelopment of Kampung Sungai Baru, following viral calls on TikTok.

He proposed that other former ministers—Tan Sri Annuar Musa, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim—and Titiwangsa MP Datuk Seri Johari Ghani also join the session. Khalid emphasized that the debate must be live and moderated by a neutral party to prevent manipulation, especially through technologies like AI.
He clarified that he is not challenging anyone, but simply responding to public calls for transparency and truth in a matter that has grown increasingly complex.
