PAS MUKTAMAR | PAS election director Sanusi Nor has taken a swipe at Perikatan Nasional (PN) allies, criticising them for contesting elections without sufficient funds or machinery and relying heavily on PAS’ resources. Speaking at the 71st PAS Muktamar in Kedah, the Kedah menteri besar highlighted the party’s heavy financial burden, noting campaign costs could reach RM1 million per parliamentary seat. “They do not have the machinery, they do not have money. Everything depended on us. But they want to be the leader?” he asked.
Sanusi: Financial sacrifices and party unity
Sanusi stressed the importance of financial preparation, urging coalition partners to contribute equally instead of depending on PAS. He also reminded members to resolve internal disputes quickly, warning that disunity would weaken the party’s chances in the coming general election.
