SMRT Trains President Lam Sheau Kai confirmed that three MRT disruptions over four days were isolated incidents, not signs of systemic failure. The North-South Line faced a push-out operation on Sept 14, followed by a power system fault on the East-West Line on Sept 16, and a signalling restart on the Thomson-East Coast Line on Sept 17.
