A few years ago, some users claimed that Zus Coffee—a proudly homegrown café chain—was mimicking the name of a Greek god. However, the company later issued clarifications, and the allegations were largely dismissed. Recently, an X user pointed out that Zus Coffee may have quietly made a subtle change to its logo.

Others state that regardless of what their branding means, people should not have a negative perception of a coffee shop’s branding, especially if it’s seen as harmless. An X user states that we should also then boycott the Olympics, and any other things that would include Greece’s pre-Christianity culture.
Another user states that if some are still adamant with this problem, they should boycott Nike too. Additionally, the difference is Nike’s branding is literally the reflection of the Greek Goddess of victory, Nike.
