ALOR SETAR, Sept 19 — PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang has expressed confidence that Malaysia will achieve ultimate peace and prosperity once Islam is fully established in governance. Speaking at the 71st PAS Muktamar in Kedah, the 77-year-old leader cited a hadith involving Prophet Muhammad and Adi bin Hatim, stressing that Islam’s victory is destined by Allah’s will.
The inevitable rule of Islam
Hadi envisioned a time when Putrajaya will be “conquered by Islam,” bringing wealth, security, and social harmony. He said under Islamic rule, even women could travel safely without escorts as criminals would submit to divine law. However, the Marang MP cautioned Muslims against rushing for political dominance, urging patience and reliance on faith for eventual triumph.
