Police arrested a 35-year-old man suspected of burglary after a dramatic chase along the North-South Expressway went viral on social media. Perak Police Chief Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin said the suspect, driving a Perodua Aruz from Manjung to Kuala Lumpur, was intercepted near Tapah after police fired a shot at his tyre.

Officers found burglary tools and a police jacket inside the vehicle. A viral video showed the suspect driving against traffic before being stopped and pulled out of his car. Police are still tracking a Toyota Hilux and a Perodua Alza linked to the case.
