SEREMBAN – DAP has stressed that it will defend all parliamentary and state seats it previously won if Pakatan Harapan (PH) continues its cooperation with Barisan Nasional (BN) in the upcoming 16th General Election (GE16). Party secretary-general Anthony Loke Siew Fook said this principle aligns with PH’s agreement to avoid contesting against coalition partners.

He explained that seat allocations must be based on incumbency, where any seat already won should remain with the respective party. Loke, who is also Seremban MP, added that DAP is open to maintaining cooperation under the Unity Government but negotiations will decide opposition-held constituencies. In Negeri Sembilan, DAP holds all 11 seats it contested and has no plans to demand others.
