Using his booking email, Neo sent three threatening messages shortly after disembarking, prompting a full security sweep and delaying 4,000 passengers for two hours. Authorities treated the threats seriously, boarding the vessel and searching cabins and the casino.

Neo was arrested later that evening. Prosecutors said panicked cruise staff delayed response efforts. Sentencing is set for October 27.
