The Ministry of Finance has confirmed that Malaysians will not be restricted to one RON95 fuel purchase per day under the BUDI95 subsidy programme, which begins 30 September at RM1.99/litre.
MOF Confirms No Daily Limit RON95
All citizens aged 16 and above with a valid driving license are eligible, with verification via MyKad. Each person is entitled to 300 litres monthly, though e-hailing drivers are exempt from this cap.
Foreign-registered vehicles remain barred from buying RON95, while foreigners with Malaysian-registered cars may purchase it at market price. A portal to check eligibility and balances will go live on 25 September at budimadani.gov.my.
