The Ministry of Transport has revealed that unpaid road tax involving luxury vehicles has reached RM35.7 million. Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the backlog includes cars owned by high-profile individuals such as politicians, corporate figures, and titled elites.

Brands involved include Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Bentley, Ferrari, and Porsche. JPJ has launched Ops Luxury to identify and seize vehicles with expired road tax. Loke confirmed authorities have the names and urged owners to settle dues if their vehicles are still active. He stressed that no one is above the law, regardless of status or title.
