KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 — Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh has urged the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to prioritise its appeal to Fifa after seven naturalised national players were suspended for using alleged forged documents during an Asia Cup qualifier against Vietnam.

The players, including Gabriel Felipe Arrocha Palmero and Rodrigo Holgado, were each fined 2,000 Swiss francs (RM10,800) and banned from football activities for 12 months. FAM was also fined 350,000 Swiss francs.
