JOHOR BAHRU: A 34-year-old man suffered losses of RM100,000 after his car window was smashed and a cash-filled bag stolen in Taman Perling. Johor Bahru Utara district police chief Assistant Commissioner Balveer Singh Mahindar Singh said the incident occurred around 10.11am after the victim withdrew the money from a bank in Johor Jaya.

The victim later found his driver’s side window broken, with the bag missing. A viral video on Facebook showed several masked men surrounding the car before one smashed the window and fled with the cash. Police are investigating the case under Section 379 of the Penal Code for theft.
