Apparently, there has been a widespread complaint about those who are unable to garner the subsidized petrol. However, X users say that this is a good thing as drivers without a driving license aren’t able to receive the subsidised petrol in lieu of BUDI95.

An X user pointed out that Singaporeans aren’t able to claim our unsubsidised RON95 petrol as they’re currently allowed to use the RON97s.
Others say this is ironic as those without a drivers license are exposing themselves to the public. Furthermore, it makes one wonder if this could possibly be the reason for the number of reckless drivers on the road.
