Several Malaysian delegates aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) have been unlawfully detained by Israeli forces, according to emergency messages shared online. The flotilla, comprising the vessels Alma, Sirius, Huga, and Adara, was intercepted while on a humanitarian mission.

On the Sirius, four Malaysians – Haikal Abdullah, Muaz Zainal, Zulfadhli Khairudin, and Rusydi Ramli – uploaded urgent video appeals. On the Alma, three others, including Iylia Balqis, Musa Nuwayri, and Sul Aidil, sent similar distress calls. Singer Zizi Kirana, aboard the Huga, reported being abducted by Israeli troops.
The videos pleaded for international awareness and urged global pressure on Israel, with calls directed to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to demand their immediate release. – Photo: Kosmo
