RM1.99 RON95 Without License
The move, endorsed by the Finance Ministry and the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, follows urgent appeals by Senator Abun Sui Anyit. Many rural residents rely on boats and lack JPJ licences, making previous requirements inaccessible.
After ground visits and swift federal investigation, the exemption now applies to all MyKad holders in rural districts. Abun praised the rapid response, calling it a win for communities often overlooked in policymaking and deserving of fair access.
