After Apple’s recent controversy over the iPhone 17 Pro series, it’s now apparently Samsung’s turn to be in the limelight. Apparently, their smart ring has had alleged battery issues, and had some batteries swelling. An X user states that in lieu of his “smart ring,” he was denied boarding his flight, and had to board in a hotel.

X users appear to be sympathising with the content creator regarding this situation. They state that he could actually lose his finger if things did not end well for him. However the company has received praises in lieu of its efforts to help.
Others appear to be unsatisfied with the whole situation, citing that releasing a potentially dangerous product to the public is not a recommended idea. This isn’t the first time where the tech giant released a product that was seen as “dangerous,” as per the Galaxy Note 8, where it was quite literally banned on flights.
