PUTRAJAYA – UMNO Youth has issued an ultimatum to the government, urging it to cancel the invitation to United States President Donald Trump if Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) activists, including Malaysians, are not immediately released by Israel.

UMNO Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh warned that nationwide protests will be staged during Trump’s upcoming visit to Kuala Lumpur should the government proceed with the invitation. He condemned Israel’s unlawful detention of at least 10 Malaysians in international waters since Wednesday night, calling it a blatant violation of international law. “Harming them is equivalent to harming all Malaysians,” he stressed.
