The Royal Malaysia Police will deploy over 10,400 personnel for the 47th ASEAN Summit, with additional support from 3,000 immigration officers to ensure top-tier security and smooth entry procedures.

Internal Security Director Datuk Seri Azmi Abu Kassim said the force is conducting continuous assessments ahead of the October 26–28 event, which will host 34 state leaders including U.S. President Donald Trump.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim described the summit as one of ASEAN’s largest, with participation from key Dialogue Partners such as Italy, Brazil, and South Africa. Authorities aim to showcase Malaysia’s readiness and leadership on the international stage.
