The crash involved a lorry carrying scrap iron that reportedly suffered brake failure, colliding with three other vehicles. Seven others were injured. The lorry driver has been released on police bail, and investigations are ongoing.

Authorities have revoked the operating licence of the lorry company, citing safety violations. A full technical report is pending before further legal action is taken.
