IPOH, Oct 6— Perak DAP has pledged full support for Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates in the upcoming 16th General Election (GE16), alongside Pakatan Harapan (PH) allies. State chairman Nga Kor Ming said UMNO’s decision to maintain cooperation with PH strengthens the Unity Government’s stability and election prospects. Speaking at the 23rd Perak DAP Annual Convention, Nga urged DAP members to unite, work tirelessly, and secure victories for both PH and BN candidates.

He warned against PAS’s “green wave,” saying states under PAS rule, such as Kelantan and Terengganu, remain economically backward with high poverty. Nga stressed that defeating PAS in Perak constituencies like Kerian and Parit Buntar is key to preserving national unity. — Perak DAP Convention
